The “Upholstered Look” slipcover technique
We developed the “Upholstered Look”
slip cover shortly after Velcro came to
market. Our cutters create a
remarkable fit by attaching Velcro around the bottom of the chair. This
technique allows us to pull the slip cover
tightly over the body expose the carved legs. Now for
the first time, you can have a slipcover
that makes your furniture look
upholstered...without a skirt !
The example shown here is a curvaceous
Queen Anne Wing chair, commonly the most
difficult to slipcover. Using a special cutting
technique combined with a Velcro base
treatment exemplifies our
“Upholstered Look” slipcover.
