| Beginning with a dense 1 ½” frame made out of oak or maple wood we begin the process by sealing the wood with a natural organic sealant to prohibit any off gassing. From there we pad and fill the piece with only organic cotton (certified by the specific farm we purchase from and in accordance with Organic standards set by The Organic Trade Association). All cushions are filled with natural latex and the entire piece is sealed with barrier cloth before the upholstering in your chosen organic fabric |
