When ordering a headboard with a slipcover, the base of the headboard is upholstered in muslin which is included in the slipcover price. The slipcovers are made from a decorative fabric of your choice, at an additional cost. You may choose to upholster both the base of the headboard and the slipcover in decorative fabric. There are no additional labor charges for upholstering the base headboard in either muslin or decorative fabric. If you decide to slip cover over the base fabric with a design or pattern, make certain that the pattern or design does not show through your slipcover fabric.

Headboard slipcovers are custom tailored individually to fit your headboard design. These slipcovers are cut to fit fairly snug but not too tight, just in case you have minor shrinkage during the cleaning process. Every fabric shrinks differently, therefore we cannot recommend either dry cleaning or machine washing. A good tip: if you do prefer washing in your machine at home, wash in cold water, run the spin cycle twice. Do not put it in the drier. If you slide your headboard slipcover over the headboard while it is slightly damp this will help eliminate wrinkling and avoid additional shrinkage.
